I went to the doctor yesterday and my conversation with the receptionist as I checked out was as follows:
"What is your name?"
"Melanie"
"Oh I typed your name without the 'L'."
"Ok."
"Your name without the 'L' is Meanie."
"You know, I never knew that."
"Yeah, you need the 'L' in there."
"Well, I'll have to thank my Mom for the 'L' then, won't I?."
"I should also thank my Mom for my L, or my name would be 'Inda.'"
