Deal?

Yeah, I know its been a while since I last posted. And it is not that I don't have anything to say, I just haven't been motivated to do it. A roller coaster of emotions have consumed me over the past month and I have been less and less motivated to post. So I figured that if I'm going to post just negative thoughts and feelings, I just won't post. Why pass that along? Having said that, there are some things in the next week or so that I will be posting that are not necessarily uplifting but day to day frustrations but I will try to keep things positive. Deal?

Speaking of Deal. Or No Deal. Justin and I went to try out for Deal or No Deal. We waited in line for about 5 hours. Then we went in groups of 10 to stand around a table in front of a "casting director" and we had 15 seconds to make our impression. I blew it. I wasn't loud enough and I didn't stand out enough. But Justin-look-at-me-sing-the-Peanut-Butter-Jelly-Song made a huge impression and went onto the next round. He then had 10 seconds to make his impression. We don't know what happens next, unfortunately. He could get a call in a month, 3 months or a year from now. But if anyone I know could get through to be on the show, it would be him. Hands down. He has that quirky personality to have a whole audience root for him to win $1 million dollars for us.

There were some really crazy people in line for the show. I met an Astrologer. He kept talking to me for about 1/2 hour...he was convinced that since it was a new moon, the casting directors would have no idea about what they were looking for and they would be indecisive. There were also the drugged (yes, we saw them taking pills) up Grandma and Grandpa in line in front of us. The Grandma picked a fight with one of the other potential contestants in line with us. Security was called and the Grandparents were being "watched" the rest of the time.

Only in Reno.
